Back to School in Style

The back-to-school wardrobe, the binders, the pencil cases… they all offer ways to set yourself apart in the classroom – to celebrate your team spirit, display your sense of style, show off your favorite character. If you really want to make a statement, set yourself apart before you even enter the hallways. Let your ride be your statement. Ride to school in style.

Higher Gear offers a selection of high quality bicycles to get you to school in style. Even our smallest kids bikes are built out of aluminum so mom and dad don’t have to worry about your bike rusting before handing it down to your younger sibling. Aluminum’s lighter weight also means they won’t complain (much) when you forget and they have to bring your bike inside for the night.

For our junior high and high school students, we have a variety of bikes to please. For the more adventurous, we have bikes to get you through those dirt path shortcuts. For the studious, we have bikes that can be fitted with racks and bags for carrying heavy books. For the more finicky students, we have bikes that can be fitted with fenders to keep those back-to-school duds clean.

Come in to Higher Gear to see our full selection of back-to-school bikes. While you’re in, don’t forget the rest of the items on your back-to-school list:

  • New helmet (Helmets should be replaced every 3-5 years and should fit properly.)
  • Bike lock
  • Front and rear lights
  • Bike pump – if mom and dad don’t already have one

Our friendly experts are available to help you find the right style, size and color of bike as well as all the accessories you’ll need to get to school safely. If you’re not sure what you need or you don’t see what you want, don’t be afraid to ask. (You don’t even have to raise your hand!)
