Bike Tune Ups

Higher Gear offers the following types of tune-up services:

• Race check;
• Standard, which includes wheel truing, checking brakes and gears, removing everything that touches the chain (e.g., cogs, derailers, crank, chains, etc.), making necessary adjustments, and washing the bike;
• Deluxe tune-up, which includes everything in Standard including bike washing, plus a bottom bracket overhaul.

Bike Washing

Washing your bike is critical. Allowing dirt, grease, and grime to build up can deteriorate bike, parts, and components. Here’s a simple before-and-after video to show you what we mean by bike washing.

Tune Up Packages

Race Check – $50

• Complete safety check
• Wheels checked for true and proper bearing adjustment
• Shifters, drive train and brakes checked for proper adjustment

Other Services

We can also clean, adjust, and replace all the components on your bike.

Bring your bike to Higher Gear mechanics, we will give it some TLC.
