Most Sundays,* Francine and Brian Haas lead a long-distance group ride. This might be the idyllic Sylvan Lake Loop, a 40-mile loop that goes through Mundelein, IL, the Pyramid Loop, a 50-mile loop through Wadsworth, IL and back, passing the mysterious Illinois Pyramid, or the 40-mile Sisters Loop.

Keep in mind that one woman’s “recovery” ride is another’s fast-tempo, endurance ride. Speeds will average 19mph. Participants should be comfortable with group riding, pacelines, and speeds over 20mph.

The ride will depart Higher Gear’s Highland Park’s parking lot (in rear of building, enter through the Chase Bank parking lot) Sunday morning promptly at 8:00am.*

**PLEASE NOTE**
Due to a busy summer race schedule, Francine and Brian will not always be leading this ride. Other leaders might include Nancy Heymann, Angie Rochester or Delfino Parra. On race weekends, if all ride leaders are unavailable, this ride may be cancelled and may that not be reflected on Higher Gear’s calendar.
