Get ready for our second cross clinic!

You’re invited to join us for our second skills clinic on cyclocross (CX) racing. All skill levels are welcome. The first clinic on 8/18 was a huge hit with core members of last year’s team joining us and a few new faces. The skills will be taught by current members of the Higher Gear Gearhead Cross team.

We’ll be reviewing and practicing skill basics including dismounting/mounting, off-camber turning and navigating barriers. The drills will include the popular Circle of Death and Andre Odendaal will be adding the Climb of Death.

The clinic will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday (8/25) at Highcrest and Wilmette Junior High School. We’ll meet on the playing fields between the schools (corner of Hunter and Illinois). After the clinic, we can ride back to the Plaza del Lago store where refreshments will be served.
